Rourke's scenes were outstanding, especially the 'lockup' scene is memorable about 'the look on their faces'. Superb acting.

Lucky to have enjoyed this film in the theater. Like many posters, I would love to know what happened between them and now.

Gotta admit, Mickey had a small role to play in the movie and he aced it like a veteran player. Man was a charmer.

Nothing special

One of the most moving and beautiful pieces I've ever heard is his re-working of Deborah's Theme (from Once Upon a Time in the West) to a very tender, ethereal song sung by Celine Dion, lyrics by Alan and Marilyn Bergman, produced by Quincy Jones. Look for the studio recording video on utube. Very beautiful in every way.

Can't Believe Gary Oldman was offered the role of "Johnny Burfoot" but he didn't did it. This Movie can add another Feather to his brilliant Characters.

I was originally gonna be in this role but I couldn't because my best friend Robert Downey JR said that only "Homos make bombs" and I decided not to do the role and graciously recommended my best friend Mickey Rourke to my best friend William "Wild Bill" "Hurtin Squirtin" Hurt. I thought I'd do better but I instead played the killer in 12 Angry Men.

Tarantino can obviously talk about Deniro’s other performances. I just didn’t like when he talked about Jackie Brown as if that could even hold the jockstrap of any of Deniro’s all-time performances. The end where he explodes in rage is great, but the rest of the time he doesn’t really know how to use him. Scorsese knows where to turn and go and Tarantino doesn’t. It’s men and boys

He had talent to burn but he lacked a true blockbuster hit when he needed it, to cement his status, and reputation, and then he started to make bad decisions, and got a reputation for being difficult.
